Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973

The Rochester Area School District is committed to providing equal access to educational programs, activities, and employment opportunities. In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the District prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability.

To ensure compliance with Section 504 and its accompanying regulations, the District has designated Compliance Officers responsible for overseeing and implementing related policies and procedures. These responsibilities include investigating complaints or concerns regarding potential violations of Section 504.
