Summer EBT - SUN Bucks
What is Summer EBT / SUN Bucks?
Summer EBT, also known as SUN Bucks, is a new federal program created by a bipartisan act of the U.S. Congress. It is designed to help low-income families with school-aged children buy groceries during the summer months when school meals are not available. Pennsylvania is participating in this program starting Summer 2024, as announced by Governor Shapiro’s administration. The program is funded and overseen by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and managed in Pennsylvania by the Department of Human Services (DHS).
