The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that was established to recognize exemplary high school students in the fields of scholarship, service, leadership & character. Students must qualify for and apply to become a part of the Rochester chapter. NHS students attend quarterly meetings and participate in a variety of service projects within the school and the community throughout the school year. Members in good standing may also have field trips and scholarship opportunities not available to the general student body.
