Nutrition Services

    Rochester Area School District  participates in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP).   This program allows all students to eat both breakfast and lunch for free. If a student would like to purchase additional meals or snacks at breakfast or lunch, they must pay with cash at the register or have enough money on their account to purchase extra items.The district has a no charge policy for students.

    To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992.   • Wellness Policy & Wellness Committee Meetings

    The District's wellness policy is located in the policy section of this website under Administration, School Board, Board Policies, Policy #246.

    Semiannual Wellness Committee meetings are held to discuss programs and events that promote good health. Any parent wishing to participate in the Wellness Committee meetings should contact the food service director, Jenny Pearson at 724-775-7500 ext. 1627.
