    Job Description

    The Rochester Area School District is seeking an Instructional Technologies Assistant to assist primarily with iPad and Apple computer deployment and perform other duties within the technology department as directed. The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in the technology field preferably in education and/or be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in information technology, information management, or instructional technologies. This is a part-time, temporary, paid position.

    Position Duties

    Assist with the configuration and deployment of technology specifically Apple devices

    Perform asset inventory

    Other tasks as directed

     

    Required Skills

    Knowledgeable in the basic operation of Apple operating systems and iOS

    Ability to train staff members

    Ability to clearly document work performed and corrective actions taken

    Self-motivated and capable of researching solutions to technology problems as they arise

     

    Additional Requirements

    Starting date for this position is to be determined. This position is expected to work a total of 200 hours, but distribution of hours is negotiable upon hire. You will follow the school calendar in regards to closings for holidays and inclement weather and other events.
