iPad Accessories Cleaning

Apple Pencil Care

To clean your Apple Pencil:

  • Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.

  • Wipe gently from the tip end (but avoid cleaning the tip itself) toward the opposite end.

  • Be careful not to let moisture enter the seam between the tip and the body.

iPad Smart Keyboard, Smart Keyboard Folio, Smart Cover, and Smart Case (Polyurethane)

  • Remove the keyboard, cover, or case from your iPad before cleaning.

  • Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe both the front and inside surfaces.

  • Avoid using window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide.

iPad Smart Cover and Smart Case (Leather)

  • Made from natural leather, the cover or case will develop a unique patina and color over time due to skin oils and sunlight exposure, enhancing its natural look.

  • Cleaning may alter the leather’s color. If you choose to clean it:

    • Remove the cover or case from your iPad.

    • Use a clean cloth dampened with warm water and mild hand soap to gently wipe the leather.

    • Dry and remove dirt with a soft, lint-free cloth.

    • Mild cleaners or conditioners may help with stains but could also change the leather’s color.

  • Avoid exposing leather to prolonged direct sunlight, heat, humidity, water, oils, makeup, or dyed fabrics (like denim), as these can cause stains or damage.

iPad Silicone Case

  • Remove your iPad from the silicone case before cleaning.

  • Wipe the inside and outside of the case with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.

  • Do not use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide.
