Cleaning Your Displays

  1. Power Down and Unplug:
    Shut down your Mac and disconnect the power cord along with any other connected devices.

  2. Exterior Cleaning:
    Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to gently clean the exterior surfaces. Avoid letting moisture enter any openings. Never spray liquids directly onto the device. Avoid using aerosol sprays, solvents, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide, as they can damage the finish.

  3. Display Cleaning (iMac):
    Use the cloth that came with your iMac or another clean, soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water only to wipe the screen.
    Do not use cleaners containing acetone. Instead, use products specifically designed for screens or displays.
    Never spray cleaner directly on the screen to prevent liquid from dripping inside and causing damage.
